Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using btnZoo (the "Service"), operated by AFSD Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

btnZoo is a web-based document creation tool that lets you build button-driven documents, invoices, order forms, and job sheets using customisable button groups and templates. The Service is available on a free tier and a paid subscription tier, as described in Section 4.

2. Your account

  • You must provide a valid email address and keep your account details accurate.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must not create accounts by automated means or share your account with others.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Upload or store content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

4. Subscription and payment

Free tier

A free account is available with no payment required. The free tier has the following limits:

  • Up to 3 saved documents (templates and standard documents combined)
  • 1 library button group
  • Up to 8 buttons total across all button groups within a document
  • Import and export, button library, and PDF download are not available

Pro tier

The Pro subscription unlocks higher limits and additional features. Billing is monthly and processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you. Continued failure may result in your account being downgraded to the free tier.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of all documents, button groups, and templates you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not access, read, or share your content except as required to provide the Service or as required by law.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create or upload does not infringe the rights of any third party.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or changes to the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFSD Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a prominent notice within the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should close your account before the changes take effect.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
